Ministry of Labour, Government of India, is developing a National Network on Occupational Safety and Health information system known as INDOSHNET. Directorate General Factory Advice Service & Labour Institutes (DGFASLI), an attached office of the Ministry of Labour will act as a facilitator of the network system. The objective of the network is reinforcement and sharing of national occupational safety and health (OS &H) information on no-profit no-loss basis with a view to pooling our information resources for mutual benefit. The sharing of information will not only confine to the national level but also includes international sources. The communication of information will be through E-mail as well as postal/courier service. DGFASLI invites industrial organisations, institutions, industry associations, trade unions, professional bodies and non-governmental organisations having information on OS&H and willing to share the same with others at the national and international level to participate as members in the network.
